Linnea Goodman, MD, is an OB/GYN who is sub-specialty certified in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. She specializes in fertility, reproductive surgery, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and fertility preservation. She is passionate about providing individualized patient-centered care.

Dr. Goodman grew up in Essex, Vermont. She is married and has two sons. She earned her undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering with honors from Columbia University. She received her degree in medicine at the University of Vermont College of Medicine, where she was awarded the Charles and Sylvia Schechtman Prize for Excellence in Clinical Care.

Dr. Goodman completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of North Carolina Hospitals (now part of UNC Health), where she received several accolades, including the Golden Tarheel Teaching Award and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopy award for minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Goodman then continued her training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the Cleveland Clinic fellowship program, with a special interest in reproductive surgery.

After graduation, she spent two years as the medical director of the operating room at Reproductive Medicine Associates in New Jersey, followed by serving on the faculty at UNC as medical director from 2018 until 2020 when she joined the UVA faculty.
