Dr. Mark Lepsch is a primary care doctor at UVA Northridge Internal Medicine who focuses his clinical practice in keeping his patients healthy and active throughout all stages of life. He is a clinical assistant professor of internal medicine. He is board-certified in family medicine. 

Dr. Lepsch attended the University of Virginia for his undergraduate and graduate degrees in electrical engineering. In his late 20s, he decided to change his career, earning a medical degree from UVA School of Medicine and completing a residency in family medicine. He joined the faculty in 2005. In addition to his role as a primary care physician, he teaches and mentors young doctors as they complete their residencies in family medicine.

Dr. Lepsch does a fantastic job in the area of patient care. He is a very good listener and lets the patient basically talk, and gathers the information about medical areas that are of interest to the patient. He has also looked at patient history prior to the appointment, and has a Great insightof the areas that he would want the patient to concentrate in. Also, Dr. Lepsch then proceeds to discuss the questions or the queries that the patient has made about medical situations that they are concerned about. He is very good at connecting on a very personal level and allowing the patient to clearly understand why any changes are necessary. Also, how these changes will be implemented and the benefits or improvements to patient health that might result.
