Originally from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Dr. Hadler attended Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, where he played collegiate soccer and graduated with an undergraduate degree in neuroscience.
Before pursuing a career in medicine, Dr. Hadler worked in cancer biology research labs at the University of Freiburg in Germany, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Columbia University in New York, where he completed his master's degree in neuroscience.
Dr. Hadler returned to North Carolina to attend medical school at Campbell University and complete his residency training in neurology at Wake Forest University. He then came to UVA Health to pursue a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology.
In his free time, Dr. Hadler enjoys playing soccer, watching sports, and spending time with his wife, hiking with their dog or playing with their fluffy cat.
