This was my exit visit and Dr. Patel was as kind and thorough as during our first meeting. He made it clear I could contact him if future concerns arise.

I liked that he was more directive about my need for hiatal hernia surgery because he believes it is the cause of my anemia. (All else has been ruled out in tests over the last year.) Everyone else has put it on me to make the decision and told me worst case scenarios. Yes, that is informed consent, but hiatal hernia surgery also has good results.
