Rosemarie Tyger, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant specializing in orthopedic spine surgery. She has over 13 years of experience in the evaluation, treatment, and surgical management of spinal disorders.
She provides comprehensive care to patients with a wide range of spine conditions, including degenerative disc disease, herniated discs, spinal stenosis, scoliosis, and spine trauma. Her role spans both the clinic and operating room. She conducts initial assessments, orders and interprets diagnostic imaging, formulates treatment plans, assists in surgery, and guides patients through post-operative recovery.
Originally from Johnstown, PA, Rosemarie earned both her undergraduate and master’s degrees in physician assistant sciences from Saint Francis University in Loretto, PA. She also completed minors in biology, psychology, and neuroscience, and holds a Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in orthopedic surgery.
Outside of work, she enjoys hiking the scenic trails around Charlottesville and is an avid baker who loves trying new and creative recipes.
