Bio & Overview
Dr. Heim received his medical degree from the University of Virginia in 1994 and joined the faculty in 1999. Dr. Heim completed his residency and a fellowship in Family Medicine at the University of Missouri-Columbia, earning a master's degree in public health. He has a special interest in family-centered obstetrical care, providing prenatal care in Nelson County and delivering babies at the UVA Hospital. He and his family enjoy art, music, food and exploring Central Virginia.
