Ahmad Babar, MD, has been serving Culpeper and the surrounding communities for several years, providing primary care services to adult patients. Originally from Pakistan, he is fluent in English, Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi.
Babar earned his medical degree from Allama Iqbal Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan. After graduation and completing his internship, Babar served as a government medical officer in the rural areas of Pakistan, bringing much needed medical care to underprivileged areas. He completed his residency at the Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, where he was awarded the best intern award and became chief resident. In his free time, Babar enjoys sports and reading.
Ahmad Babar, MD, is not accepting new patients or referrals but maintains privileges at UVA for current patients.
