Dr. Kiser grew up in the Richmond area. She earned her undergraduate degree in communication sciences and disorders at James Madison University and stayed on to earn her doctorate in audiology.
In 2003, Dr. Kiser completed her fellowship at UVA and joined the staff in the Division of Communicative Disorders and Audiology. She began serving as the coordinator of the cochlear implant program at UVA in 2005.
In addition to cochlear implants, she has a special interest in diagnostics, intraoperative monitoring and pediatric electrophysiological testing. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA).
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter.
