I am a clinical nephrologist seeing patients admitted to the hospital as well as in the clinic and dialysis unit. My patients have problems such as chronic kidney disease, high blood pressure, high levels of acid in the blood, and other problems related to the kidney.
I attended St. George’s University for medical school, after which I completed an internal medicine residency at SUNY Stony Brook. I completed my nephrology and ultrasound fellowships at the University of Pennsylvania. I am interested in integrating the use of point-of-care ultrasound to look at how much fluid a patient has in them, what their kidneys look like, and other related applications. I am interested in curriculum development as it pertains to both nephrology and point-of-care ultrasound.
