I was born in India and completed my undergraduate and medical school training there.
I am an orthopedic surgeon and specialize in pediatric spine surgery. I received fellowship training at LSU Health Sciences Center New Orleans and Shriner’s Hospitals for Children in Philadelphia. I was also trained as a fellow in spine surgery at UVA before joining the Department of Orthopedics in 2013.
I like to spend time with my wife, who also works at UVA, and our two kids. I like to swim and spend time outdoors when possible.
