David L. Bogdonoff, MD, is an anesthesiologist at UVA Health. He cares for and ensures the safety of patients before, during, and after surgery. He is board-certified in anesthesiology. He cared for the first patient to receive a liver transplant at UVA in 1989 and continues to help patients receiving liver transplants. He also cares for patients having endocrine surgery, neurosurgery, and hepatobiliary surgery.
Dr. Bogdonoff was born and raised in Rochester, New York. He earned his medical degree at University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. He completed residency training in surgery at Penn State and anesthesiology at UVA.
