Dawn R. Alexander, MD, is a board-certified primary care physician who sees patients of every age, from infancy to adulthood. She specializes in women’s health, preventive medicine, diabetes, hypertension, arthritis, depression, colds, and flu.
Originally from northern West Virginia, Alexander received her undergraduate degree from West Virginia University in Morgantown prior to attending medical school at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. There, she also completed a residency in family medicine. Alexander began practicing at UVA in January 2020.
In her free time, the single mom of three active teens enjoys attending their sporting events, going to amusement parks and thrill rides, getting outdoors, and being on the beach.
