Biography

Hillary Maitland, MD, is a hematologist at UVA Cancer Center and an assistant professor of hematology/oncology at UVA. She treats patients with bleeding and blood disorders, including blood clots and inherited bleeding tendencies.

Dr. Maitland attended the University of Delaware and Temple University School of Medicine. After medical school, she earned a master’s in clinical research while completing her residency in internal medicine at UVA. She continued at UVA for her fellowship in hematology, and joined the faculty in 2013.
