Joseph Tan, PhD, is an assistant professor of family medicine and a clinical psychologist. His clinical focus is integrating behavioral health services into primary care.
Born and raised in Delaware, Tan completed his undergraduate degree at Haverford College in Pennsylvania. He then obtained a PhD in clinical psychology at UVA.
In his free time, Tan enjoys exploring Charlottesville’s restaurant scene, reading, tennis and spending time with his spouse and two dogs.
