Joyti Khokhar, MS, LCGC, is a genetic counselor who specializes in helping identify the underlying cause of various pediatric health concerns, such as intellectual disability, developmental delay, autism spectrum disorder, multiple congenital anomalies, epilepsy and more. She also consults families with a history of various genetic conditions, such as a predisposition to cancer, cardiovascular disease or neurological conditions.
Khokhar received her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, where she majored in psychology and Spanish. After realizing a passion for working with children with special needs and individuals with complex genetic conditions, she completed graduate training at Virginia Commonwealth University and earned a master’s degree in genetic counseling. Khokhar is a member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors and the American Board of Genetic Counseling.
In her free time, Khokhar enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her loved ones. She also loves reading, cooking and traveling.
