Biography

Karen Clark was born in Charlottesville and grew up in the surrounding areas. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from UVA and is proud to be a double HOO.

Before starting as a nurse practitioner, she worked for almost ten years as a registered nurse in inpatient neurosurgery. She enjoys working with the neurosurgery patient population and being able to prepare patients and family members to undergo surgery.

Outside of work, Mrs. Clark spends time enjoying many of the things Charlottesville has to offer, including great restaurants and lots of outdoor activities.
