Dr. Ring is an assistant professor in the Division of Gynecologic Oncology and treats women with gynecologic malignancies, including surgery and chemotherapy. She graduated magna cum laude from Washington and Lee University and received her medical degree at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. She remained in Charlottesville, where she completed residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the UVA before completing a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. In addition to treating patients with gynecologic cancers, Dr. Ring has an interest in hereditary cancers and sees patients in the High Risk Breast and Ovarian Cancer Clinic at UVA.
