Biography

Mary-Margaret Noland, MD, is a general dermatologist with a special interest in complex medical dermatology, including solid organ transplant dermatology. Born and raised in Roanoke, Noland received her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Virginia. She then moved to New York City to complete an internship in internal medicine at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital. Noland returned to UVA to complete a dermatology residency and fellowship in dermatopathology, a subspecialty of dermatology that focuses on the study of skin diseases at the microscopic level. On the faculty since 2011, Noland is associate program director for the Dermatology Resident Training Program.

When she is away from work, Noland enjoys playing sports and being outside with her husband and two children. Noland and her family are huge UVA sports fans and like cheering on the UVA Cavaliers.
