Melody Noble, MS, RN, is a board-certified adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner specializing in hematology/oncology. She cares for patients at the UVA Cancer Center, providing same-day and urgent medical care for patients with cancer.
Born and raised in Charlottesville, Noble graduated from UVA with a baccalaureate degree in political science and religious studies. She earned an accelerated baccalaureate degree in nursing at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, and worked as a registered nurse for several years before returning to UVA. Noble attended the UVA School of Nursing, earning a Master of Science in Nursing with an adult-gerontology acute care specialty.
Noble’s first position at UVA was working as an administrative assistant throughout nursing school, followed by several years as a nurse on the adult vascular surgery unit. After graduating from the MSN program at UVA in 2019, she transitioned to UVA Cancer Center as an advanced practice provider.
Outside of work, Noble is a wife and mother to four children. Her husband is a personal trainer and the entire family is very active, spending lots of time involved in the children’s sports programs and enjoying the outdoors.
