Dr. Sana Khan is a nephrologist whose clinical practice is focused on home dialysis, specifically peritoneal dialysis. She is an instructor of medicine and is board-certified in internal medicine and nephrology.
Dr. Khan grew up in Karachi, Pakistan. She earned her medical degree from Aga Khan University in Karachi, then relocated to the United States for additional training. She completed her residency in internal medicine at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Khan then completed a fellowship in nephrology at UVA. She joined the UVA faculty in 2014.
Outside of work, Dr. Khan enjoys long-distance running, cooking and baking.
