Dr. Washington is part of the interventional radiology team that performs minimally invasive, image-guided procedures to treat a wide range of medical conditions that once required open surgery. He is certified in diagnostic radiology with the American Board of Radiology and has a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. His area of focus is the treatment of small-vessel peripheral vascular diseases — including infrapopliteal disease, utilizing the retrograde approach.
Both Northern Virginia Magazine and Washington Magazine have consistently listed him as a Top Doctor in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. Dr. Washington holds a membership in The Society of Interventional Radiology and its Chesapeake Chapter, and The American College of Radiology and its Virginia Chapter.
Dr. Washington completed his medical degree at The George Washington University School of Medicine. For both his residency in diagnostic radiology and his fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology, he attended The George Washington University Hospital.
