Dr. Tim McLaughlin grew up in western Albemarle county. He graduated from Henley Middle School in 1986, and Western Albemarle High School in 1990. He earned a bachelorâ??s degree from UVA in 1994. After college, he spent two years in Northern Virginia working as an environmental consultant before returning to this area for medical school. He graduated from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in 2001 and completed his family medicine residency at UVA in 2004.
In 2004, he joined Stuarts Draft Family Practice, a UVA practice located in Stuarts Draft, Virginia. He joined UVA Family Medicine-Crozet in October 2011. He has resided in Crozet since 2005. He is married with two young boys. He enjoys music, cycling, hiking, and coaching his sonâ??s soccer team.
