Dr. Millard was born in Abington, Pennsylvania and grew up in Bucks County. She attended Lafayette College in Easton, PA and earned a bachelor of science in biology. Following college, she completed medical school at Penn State University. She moved to Charlottesville, Virginia for internal medicine residency at the University of Virginia. Following completion of her residency, she served as internal medicine chief resident at UVA. She then stayed at UVA to complete her hematology/oncology fellowship.
Dr. Millard holds a clinical faculty appointment in medicine in hematology/oncology at the University of Virginia. She specializes in the medical treatment of breast cancer. She is committed to providing compassionate and high-quality care to all patients. Her research interests include clinical trial development and enrollment in early-stage and metastatic breast cancer trials.
In her spare time, Dr. Millard enjoys participating in a book club, hosting friends, hiking and spending time with her family.
