The provider was informative and fair; however, it was suggested that I start two new medication after reviewing recent blood work results, blood pressure results, etc. I requested that I start one medication being it was my first visit and then I follow her recommended suggestions pertaining to my health (track blood pressure, exercise, and diet better which includes no salt). I wanted to focus on following through with the suggestions rather than starting two new meds immediately. In conclusion, we were able to compromise on starting the one medication and then at follow-up in a few weeks determine if I'll need the second medication (statin). The pressure was a bit disheartening at first; however, I respect that she was doing her job and being more intentional about my health as a patient.

She never asked me about my questions or worries. I was automatically told that I would be having a cardioversion, and before I left another individual printed off important information about the procedure.
