Priyanka Singla, MD, is a board-certified anesthesiologist who focuses on pain management.
She has expertise in:

Dr. Singla was the first pain physician in Virginia to implant the novel neurostimulation system for restorative therapy for low back pain.
She shares, “I believe in a multidisciplinary approach to provide individualized and comprehensive care to my patients. Chronic pain is a huge burden for patients and often difficult to treat. I make every effort to help my patients achieve their goals of functional improvement by providing adequate pain relief.”
Dr. Singla was born and grew up in New Delhi, India. Coming from a family of physicians, she was inspired to pursue a medical career because of “the selfless service that physicians provide to care for sick patients at their most vulnerable period in life.”
She shares, “During the course of my anesthesia training in two different countries, pain medicine was one specialty that intrigued me the most. I completed a fellowship in pain medicine as I truly believe that I can make a difference in patients’ lives by treating their pain.”
She earned her medical degree at MP Shah Medical College in Jamnagar, India. In 2016, she joined the University of Virginia as a research associate. In addition to her fellowship in pain management, she also completed a general surgery internship and anesthesiology residency training at UVA.
Dr. Singla lives in Charlottesville with her husband and two children. She shares, “In my free time, I enjoy cooking and exploring the area with my family. I love to travel and aspire to visit all the countries of the world.”
