I have heard horror stories online about other people's experiences with their endocrinologist, but UVA has provided an entirely positive experience.
The provider is an excellent listener, very knowledgeable, and always goes above and beyond to address our concerns. My son feels comfortable during visits and has no complaints. We truly appreciate the care and attention provided.
If all providers were like him then health care would be so much better. He is kind, compassionate and knowledgeable.

Very thorough
Dr Aaron Misakian is great. He makes me feel that he really cares about me. He takes time to make sure I understand. He never gives the impression that he is in a rush which makes me feel less anxious. The Dietitian is great explain every thing to me and answers questions. Social worker is great helps me with questions I have also.
