Bio & Overview
Christopher Ward, MD, grew up in Dallas, Texas where he grew attached to the Dallas Cowboys, Tex-Mex, and music. He attended the University of Texas at Austin for a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a biomedical focus. He returned to his birth state of Ohio for medical school at The Ohio State University where he met his wife and dragged her back down to Texas for residency at UTMB at Galveston where he completed a duel track in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics along with Chief Residency in his last year.
He is interested in system dynamics, physics, philosophy, the nature of consciousness, and eudemonia. With patients, Dr. Ward prefers a data driven, collaborative approach whether he's dealing with acute or chronic conditions as well as prevention.
