Daniel A Kaminstein, MD
Emergency Medicine
Bio & Overview
Daniel Kaminstein, MD, is an emergency medicine physician who cares for patients with the full range of urgent and life-threatening conditions.
"Every patient has a story and a reason they are seeking care," he says. "My goal is to treat each person as a human being whose story deserves to be heard, and whose concerns, medical and sometimes beyond, are acknowledged and addressed."
Dr. Kaminstein has practiced emergency medicine for more than a decade. Beyond his work in the emergency department, he has particular expertise in tropical and travel-related infectious diseases. He also trains physicians at every level in bedside ultrasound and ultrasound-guided procedures.
He earned his medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia and completed his emergency medicine residency at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, followed by fellowships in point-of-care ultrasound and global health. He also holds a diploma in tropical medicine and hygiene from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and a master's degree in medical education from the University of Pennsylvania.
