Dustin W Bogan, DMSc

Dustin Bogan, DMS, PA-C, is a physician assistant who specializes in pediatric mental health and child development. His clinical interests include autism, child development, and ADHD.

“I want my patients to know that I will always be completely open, honest, and give them my absolute best effort every single day,” he says. “I will work directly with them to figure problems out together.”

Bogan spent his early childhood in a small, rural community in the western part of Virginia, raised by young parents and supported heavily by extended family. He learned the importance of hard work and flexibility and developed a passion for caring for others.

Growing up in a medically underserved area, he wanted to help support families and individuals in difficult moments. He earned his master’s in physician assistant studies and a doctor of medical science degree from Shenandoah University in Winchester. He brings years of primary care pediatrics experience to his role in developmental pediatrics.

“I aim for empathy and strong communication,” Bogan says. “I believe that treating a patient involves understanding their unique background, fears, and goals, not just managing their symptoms.”
