She earned a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Virginia and a bachelor of science degree and a master of science in nursing from Shenandoah University.
Drew began her nursing career at UVA Medical Center and then worked in the emergency department at UVA Culpeper Medical Center. She has worked in urgent care and primary care settings and provided diabetes education.
