Dr. Elizabeth Lyons is a general internist with a focus on women’s health. She is associate program director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program and an associate professor of medicine in the Division of General Medicine, Geriatrics and Palliative Care. She is board-certified in internal medicine.
Dr. Lyons attended Swarthmore College for her undergraduate studies, graduating with honors. She earned her medical degree and completed her residency in internal medicine at Northwestern University in Chicago, where she served as chief medical resident in her final year. She joined the University of Virginia faculty in 2013.
