Jenna R Campo, AG-PCNP

Jenna Campo, MSN, AG-PCNP, is an advanced practice provider who specializes in caring for those facing cancer.

Jenna started her RN career as a nurse resident and rotated through different specialties until she found a passion in caring for oncology patients. 

After graduating with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from James Madison University, she started practicing as an RN at University of Colorado. She quickly advanced to a permanent charge nurse on their hematology/oncology unit. While working as an RN, she continued to advance her education by graduating from the University of Colorado with her Master of Science in Nursing as a board-certified adult primary care nurse practitioner specializing in hematology/oncology.

During school, she moved back to Virginia and worked on the UVA inpatient oncology/stem cell unit for a few years. After graduating from University of Colorado, she transitioned to UVA Comprehensive Cancer Center.

She shares: “My father was treated at UVA for non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma while I was attending JMU. I was able to see the positive impact that NPs have on their patients during the toughest battle of their life. To be able to provide the same trust, confidence, and hope that UVA gave to my father and family is a dream come true.”

She adds, “My hope is to be our patient’s guide by lending my hand to help them navigate through the treacherous course that a cancer diagnosis makes.”

Jenna has lived in several different states, but always found her way back to Virginia. Outside of work, she enjoys international traveling, snowboarding, practicing yoga, and hiking in the Blue Ridge mountains.
