I really liked the midwife, she was very helpful in answering my questions and addressing my concerns. She described what she was going to do before doing it during the exam and made it clear that I was in control and could ask her to stop if I needed which made me feel very comfortable. My only minor thought was that when we were talking about birth control and I mentioned that I didn't want to have kids her first response was that since I'm only 28 I could change my mind. Which I think is an important thing to mention but as someone who has thought about this decision for a long time I didn't appreciate that it was the first thing she said. I understand and appreciate that it's something she should mention because people can and do change their minds but it bothered me slightly that it was the first thing she said. I would still definitely see her again for an appointment and recommend her to anyone else.
