Highlights
Juan Pablo Sardi, MD
Hi, my name is Juan Sardi. I'm a neurosurgeon at the University of Virginia. I specialize in spine surgery, both minimally invasive and open procedures. I treat patients with spine pathologies. This is a huge group of patients that can go from degenerative disease, which is basically the aging of the spine, to trauma, to tumors. Patients can expect when they arrive up to my clinic or to my OR, that I'm going to be thinking about their quality of life and I'm going to be putting their interests at the top of my mind. I'm professionally passionate about returning people to their baseline and to returning people to their day-to-day activities, whether that is going back to sports, whether that is being pain-free and able to walk normally. I think people should choose UVA because of the humane way they will be treated by the entire staff. They will feel comfortable since the moment they sit foot in the hospital, in the clinic, or in the OR, and they can be reassured that they will receive the best treatment possible according to their needs.
