Kelsey Parente, MS, PA, is a physician assistant at UVA Hand Center. Working with four attending physicians, she diagnoses and treats a variety of injuries and conditions of the elbow, forearm and hand, including fractures, carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis elbow and more.

Parente attended Hope College in Michigan, where she graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in athletic training. She then received a Master of Education in Athletic Training from UVA, followed by a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from James Madison University.

Four years ago in a different state I was told there were two options for my problem. One was bad, the other was worse - neither was acceptable. At UVA I was told "let's try to fix this". No guarantees, but at least they're willing to try.
