Dr. Shanmugasundaram's attentiveness and compassion far exceeded any expectations we could have had. She instilled in us a sense of expertise and confidence amidst a frightening diagnosis. She spent a significant amount of time with us thoroughly discussing treatment options and plans. We are incredibly grateful for her excellent care and the care of her team.

Initial visit so provider is coming up to speed on current status. For old cancer, just an annual check needed approximately 9.5 years out from sct. Very good at listening and getting referral set up for GI concerns, CT scan related to GI, and IVIG.

She asked if I had any joint pain, but didn't mention the high uric acid result, or any information about what I could do about it. I found out about the level after we had left. She asked about my cough, and did, later in the visit, mention a small lung nodule and needed f/u. She mentioned her continued plan of care, but didn't bring up any issues that would result from that plan of care, but that may be 6 m away.
