Leah Kroeger, MD, is a Northern Virginia-based neurologist with UVA Health. She attended medical school at Virginia Commonwealth University (formerly Medical College of Virginia).
“I knew I always wanted to help people and wanted a job where I could interact with a variety of people,” Kroeger explains.
She completed her internship and residency at the University of Illinois. She received fellowship training in neurophysiology at Georgetown University.
Kroeger shares that she views her “relationship with my patients and the family as a team effort.” “I like to work together finding the correct workup and treatment plan,” she says. “I hope patients realize how much I enjoy working as a neurologist, and that I realize what a privilege it is.”
