Matthew Elliott, MD, (pronouns: he/him) is a neurologist who treats neuromuscular disorders, including amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), myasthenia gravis, myopathy and neuropathy. He uses electromyography, a test that measures electrical activity of the muscles, to help diagnose these and other diseases.  

Originally from West Virginia, Elliott received his medical degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine in Morgantown, West Virginia. He completed residency training in neurology and a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at UVA.

In his free time, Elliott enjoys soccer, weight lifting, running and hiking.
