Highlights
Meet Family Physician Michael David Perez, MD
Hi, I'm Dr. Michael Perez. I'm a family physician. I work for UVA Health. As a family practice doctor, I take care of people of all ages, mostly childhood wellness visits, childhood illness visits, adult medical care. I have also specialized in aesthetics medicine for the last 15 years, so I provide a lot of that kind of care. Currently, my passion is doing aesthetics medicine. I've been doing that, as I said, for about 15 years. I'm board certified in aesthetics medicine doing a lot of Botox and fillers and other types of skincare treatments that are available. As for family medicine, my passion for that is taking care of the whole person. I really enjoy getting to take care of all aspects of an individual, their medical condition, their family situation, it's a wonderful thing to be able to provide that type of care to someone and give them hope, and direction. When we have a patient doctor relationship, when we work together, they're doing their part and I'm doing my part and seeing how those two things come together to provide a better health, better lifestyle, that is something I think is really important and powerful.
