As a family medicine practitioner, Nicholas H. Kidd, MD, specializes in providing general care to patients of all ages.
His clinical interests include providing evidence-based and patient-centered care for all ages with special interests in LGBTQ+ health and medical education.
“I view my relationships with patients as a collaboration and strive to make decisions based on their individual values and goals,” he shares.
Born and raised in Southwest Virginia, Dr. Kidd earned his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Virginia Tech and completed medical school at Virginia Commonwealth University. He completed his residency training in family medicine at UVA Health.
“I loved it here in Charlottesville so much that I had to stay,” Dr. Kidd says.
Outside of work, Dr. Kidd enjoys playing music, spending time with his family, and eating his way through Charlottesville's best restaurants.
