Highlights
Meet Cardiologist Parminder Kaur, MD
I am Parminder Kaur. I'm one of the cardiologists at UVA Health. So I see a lot of patients complaining of chest pain, patients with issues like shortness of breath, at rest or exertion. People come to me with complaints of palpitations and we diagnose various abnormal rhythms of the heart based on their symptoms. I always had the desire to help people. So this is a noble profession and the main key in this profession is to help others, especially when they are having difficult times. I am very thorough, so I ask a lot of questions just to understand their symptomatology, very welcoming and I usually involve patients in decision-making about what steps we're going to take to help address their problems. Here at Culpeper, we can provide quality care as a part of UVA Health System. It's very important, especially for the people living in the rural areas around Culpeper, to be aware of their health condition and to get proper diagnosis and treatment.
