Dr. Quanjun Cui profile video
[MUSIC PLAYING] DR. QUANJUN CUI: I'm Dr. Quanjun Cui. I'm an orthopedic surgeon specialized in total joint replacement. I grew up in a family with many physicians. In fact, my parents' home was in the backyard of a hospital they worked in. So I knew when I was very young I wanted to be an orthopedic surgeon. I was trained both in China and the United States. So I took the best part out of the both systems. I perform total joint replacement, including total knee and total hip arthroplasty, which was the best two surgical procedures in medical history, which provide best pain relief and a functional recovery. UVA Joint Replacement Program provides multi-disciplinary care to our patients using the latest evidence-based surgical techniques and patient-centered care. We know you. You know everybody on our care team. We communicate all the time. I take care of each patient like my own family member, just like what my parents did to their patients. When I see my patient after surgery at a clinic, walking without pain, dancing for me at a clinic, or giving me a huge hug, that's the wonderful feeling, when you can really make a difference in your professional life.
