I grew up in the South of Germany. I attended medical school at University of Bochum, Germany, and completed my residency and fellowship at University of Munich, Germany and University of Virginia (neuroendocrinology). I specialized in Endocrinology with focus on diabetes mellitus (inpatient and outpatient), thyroid disease, pituitary disease, and PCOS. In my life outside of work, I enjoy the outdoors, hiking and sports.
