Rose M Lewis, ACNP

Rose Lewis is an acute care nurse practitioner who cares for post-op patients in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at UVA. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Bloomsburg University in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, in 1985. After graduation, she began working at UVA in the Thoracic-Cardiovascular Postoperative Unit. She continued her education at UVA while working at the Health System, earning her master’s in nursing as an Acute/Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist in 1991 and her post-master’s Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification in 2007. She received the UVA School of Nursing Distinguished Alumni Award in 2008, and has been working on the orthopedic surgery acute care unit since 2011.
