Bio & Overview

Samuel Cross, MD, is a general pediatrician who sees children for well visits, school and sports physicals, ADHD, and other general pediatric conditions. 

Dr. Cross was born and raised in Richmond. He attended University of Virginia for his undergraduate degree, medical school and residency. In between, he lived and worked in Siavonga, Zambia, where he managed a commercial fishing company. He started at UVA Augusta Pediatrics in 2020. 

He and his wife, Shelby, have four boys (Porter, Milo, Charlie, and Shepard). Most of his life outside of work involves spending time with his family.

Dr. Cross was amazing! This was our first time meeting him and we were very impressed. He was so kind, caring, knowledgeable and truly involved us in Myles' care. He was incredibly informative and reassuring. We love our regular pediatrician but if we didn't have him we would love to have Dr. Cross! He is a great asset to Augusta Peds.
