Bio & Overview
Stephanie Roane, PT, DPT, OCS, earned her bachelor of science in biology from Radford University in Virginia, and her doctor of physical therapy from East Tennessee State University in Johnson City.
She is residency trained in orthopedics from the Virginia Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy Institute and is a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist.
Stephanie is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the orthopaedic section of the APTA, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy. She is also an associated faculty for the Tufts University Doctor of Physical Therapy Program in Boston, and an adjunct instructor and faculty member for the Murphy Deming College of Health Sciences at Mary Baldwin University.
Her special interests include musculoskeletal and sports-related injuries. She thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail in 2016.
