Bio & Overview
Dr. Kaur is a hematologist/oncologist specializing in management of patients with head-neck cancers and skin cancers, including melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers.
She earned her medical degree from Government Medical College, Punjab University, India. She completed both her internal medicine residency and hematology and medical oncology fellowship at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Following graduation she worked as an oncologist at the Vancouver Island Cancer Center, and as an Instructor at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. At University of Virginia, she spends her time between clinical practice, teaching medical student/resident/fellow trainees and clinical research. Dr. Kaur is board certified in internal medicine, hematology and medical oncology.
Dr. Kaur manages patients with head and neck cancers and skin cancers, including melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers. She has research interests in anti-cancer immunotherapy, immunotherapy biomarkers and safe and effective use of pharmacotherapeutics. In her spare time, Dr. Kaur enjoys running, traveling and spending time outdoors with her family and friends.
