Vivian Nakawala, FNP, is a family nurse practitioner. She helps patients manage illness, prevent disease, and maintain good health and wellbeing.
Nakawala earned a diploma in general nursing at the University of Zambia Teaching Hospital in Lusaka, Zambia. She went on to earn an undergraduate degree in nursing at George Mason University and a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) at the University of Virginia.
She is a member of the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses Association of Nurse Practitioners. Her approach to patient care is compassionate and personalized.
Outside of work, Nakawala enjoys volunteering for community organizations, including Help Hungry Kids (HHK) and the local food pantry. She is also an avid gardener.
