A New Liver at 33
Leslie Waller was just 33 when she was diagnosed with a rare liver cancer. After some research, she realized a liver transplant was her best option to ensure the cancer wouldn't come back. Her doctor referred her to UVA surgeon Shawn Pelletier, MD.
Leslie went on the transplant waiting list, and her husband was tested to see if he was a match.

How to Save a Life
