Bio & Overview
Sonia Crimaldi, MD, joined UVA with almost 20 years of experience in private practice subspecialty radiology in Michigan, Richmond, VA, and in a busy professional sports and orthopedic cancer service in Charlotte, NC. After practicing general radiology for a few years in Michigan, Dr. Crimaldi realized how much she enjoyed joint imaging and subspecialized in MSK with a fellowship at VCU.
“It is a pleasure to add my perspective from private practice experience to our trainees. I am thrilled to live central Virginia and feel the UVA and Charlottesville is truly a perfect place to live and practice,” she says.
